The Pool

Swimming is a great form of exercise and ideal to help you tone up and get fitter. We offer a variety of options on Swimming sessions so if you are looking for an aqua class, an adult only swim or family fun at Splash time we have something to suit everyone.

Our 20m pool is situated in part of the old hall and is surrounded by a glass roof and the ability to see outside. There is also children’s pool so all the family can enjoy a swim together.

The pool area has recently been refurbished to give a fresher look. Within the pool area there is a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

The pool is beautifully lit at night time to offer a relaxing environment to swim in after a tough workout.

Everyday we offer an adults only swim in a morning and evening. Our lanes are sectioned off with a fast lane if you are feeling energetic.

On a weekend we offer a children’s splash time so all the family can have fun in the pool.

Within the pool area you can relax in our Jacuzzi or soothe those tired limbs in the steam room or sauna.

Come and join one of our fun baby and toddler swimming classes at Cookridge Hall Health and Fitness Club. Our Little Splashers classes run weekdays and cater for parents, carers, toddlers and babies who want to make friends and enjoy spending time with their little ones in water.

Our experienced swimming instructor at Little Splashers classes uses swim songs, toys and floats in the water to help babies and toddlers to have fun and gain water confidence.

Benefits for babies and toddlers in the water are;
Help them to improve their water safety awareness
Improve strength and co-ordination
Improve confidence and social skills
Improve sleeping pattern

Our Little Splashers classes start from when your baby reaches 3 months of age and continues up until preschool age when they can move onto independent swimming classes without a parent or carer in the water.

At Cookridge Hall, Little Splashers baby and toddler swimming classes run weekday session on a half termly block. The water session for babies and toddlers lasts for 30 minutes.

Non members are welcome.
Little Splashers use an under water photographer to run regular underwater photography sessions for you and your child once they have completed one of our programmes.
