Following several near misses over the past few years Cookridge Hall Scratch Team seem to be on the brink of claiming 1st division status for the first time in their history.
Previous campaigns have left the team reeling after missing out both by one solitary point and a countback but this year their destiny is in their own hands.
With two matches remaining both away fixtures at Waterton Park and Low Laithes respectively the boys will be looking to secure their division one status without having to rely on other results going their way. In his first year as Captain Tom Pilling has already been referred to as the chosen one by steering the team, made up of players whom have come through the reputable junior ranks at Cookridge to their strongest position yet.
Here’s to wishing the boys the very best of luck in the final games!
