Inspector Returns to Solve Rope Crime
Some of you may recall last year the mystery of the rope cutter.
Rope put in place to protect your greens meant that on occasions golfers were forced to walk an additional 10 yards or so in order to get to the next tee, unless of course the rope was cut leaving a clear pathway through for a cutter and their trolley.
What became a daily occurnece seems now to have stopped, for reasons that continue to baffle golf club inspectors.
Nevertheless a new wave of rope crime has begun as last week we were subjected to a theft of in excess of 200 yards of rope surrounding greens.
Should anyone have witnessed any strange behaviour this includes seeing past Captain making a par, please report it immediately to golf club officers.
